ECWA College of Nursing Sciences seeks a Registrar. Reporting to the Provost of the College, the Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the College, a Principal Officer, Head of the Registry Department, and Secretary to the Governing Council.

Responsibility: The Registrar is responsible for:

• The day-to-day administration of the College

• Developing the Registry Department; Keeping the student and institution’s the records, and conducting the correspondences of the College

• Ensure administrative cooperation and integration of academic activities including admission of students, course registration, lecture schedules, class attendance management, student welfare, and examination and result processing

• Ensures administrative support in matters relating to staff appointment

• Ability to develop, document and implement best practices

• Act as the Secretary to the Governing Council

• Such other duties as may be assigned to him.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Applicant must be a Deputy Registrar in a recognized Tertiary Institution in Nigeria or have a minimum of 5 years of working experience in a similar institution

• A graduate in humanities or business with suitable experience in public administration and institution management

• Evidence of strong administrative leadership, initiative and creativity in policy formulation, good industrial human relations and proven managerial attributes

• Evidence of membership of reputable professional bodies in Nigeria

• Be compliant in Information and Communication Technology (ICT )

• Be objective, fair minded, impartial and with proven integrity, be able to carry colleagues along.
