The management of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has officially extended the deadline for school fees payment and course registration for undergraduate students.
In a notice published in the university’s official bulletin (S.E. Vol. XXXV No. 1) dated Monday, 5th January 2026, the university announced that while the original deadline was December 19th, 2025—as stated in the 2025/2026 academic calendar—a grace period has now been granted until January 18th, 2026.

This extension is described as a gesture of magnanimity by the university management. Students who have not yet completed their fees payment and course registration are strongly advised to take advantage of this final opportunity to avoid disruptions to their academic activities. The notice clearly states that no further extension will be granted.
Additionally, the university emphasized that only students who have fully paid their fees and registered their courses will be allowed to participate in continuous assessments and sit for the forthcoming first semester examinations.
