The Delta State Government has announced the commencement of registration for the Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Programme (TEP), an initiative aimed at promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment among students of state-owned tertiary institutions.

‎Registration for the programme officially opens on Monday, 2nd February, 2026. Interested and eligible students are encouraged to apply online via the official application portal: www.tepapplication.com.

‎The Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Programme was designed to identify, nurture, and support students with innovative and bankable business ideas, equipping them with the skills and resources required to become successful entrepreneurs and job creators.

‎Eligibility Criteria include:

‎Applicant must be a student of a Delta State-owned university, namely:

• ‎University of Delta (UNIDEL)
• Delta State University (DELSU)
• Southern Delta University (SDU)
• Dennis Osadebay University (DOU)

1. ‎Must be of Delta State origin.
2. Must be between 18 and 35 years of age.
3. Must be in 200 Level, 300 Level, or Penultimate Year.
4. Must have a minimum CGPA of 2.5.
5. Must possess an innovative and bankable business idea.

‎Required Documents:

‎Applicants are required to upload the following documents during the application process:

• ‎Recent passport photograph.
• Admission letter.
• Birth certificate.
• Local Government of Origin certificate.
• Business plan proposal
