At a virtual emergency meeting of the Provosts, Deans, and Directors held on Sunday, 15th March, 2026, the University management deliberated on the status of student registration.

It was observed that a significant disparity exists between the number of students who have paid school charges and those who have registered, in a ratio of 3:1. Following these deliberations, the following decisions have been reached:

• Examination Eligibility: All students are permitted to write the First Semester examinations. However, each Faculty and School must implement measures to authenticate eligible students to prevent examination malpractice.
• Registration & Fees: No student shall be prevented from participating in the First Semester examinations due to failure to pay school charges or complete registration.
• Identification for Fresh Students: All fresh students using OMR forms must shade their Matriculation Numbers as identification. Those yet to receive Matriculation Numbers should leave the first column of the Matriculation Number box blank and shade their unique Student IDs.

Members of the University Community are hereby informed, and students are encouraged to prepare for and write their examinations without any inhibitions.
