Clinical Instructors are experienced nurses who oversee the clinical training of nursing students. Successful applicants will work closely with students in healthcare settings to ensure the students are gaining the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their future careers. Clinical Instructors provide feedback, guidance, and support to students as they navigate real-world healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate students’ learning and contribute to curriculum development.
• Coordinate classroom and laboratory activities, evaluate student learning and maintain academic records and attendance.
• Develop scholarly pedagogic outputs such as syllabi, homework assignments and handouts.
• Promote collegiality within the academic community by serving on committees, participating in faculty and staff meetings and departmental activities.
• Stay current in the academic discipline through professional development opportunities.
• Be available for academic support outside of the classroom.
• Other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Qualifications/ Experience

Applicants MUST:

• Possess good first degree in Nursing Science (BNSC).
• Be registered and licensed to practice by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
• Applicant should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience or demonstrated related experience.
• Be a committed Christian.
• Possess exceptional communication and peadagogical skills.
