The Deputy Provost of the College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Lafia, Nasarawa State, Dr. Peter Aboki, has petitioned an Upper Area Court, in Lafia, over the alleged snatching of his wife by the Nasarawa state immediate past Commissioner for Agriculture and Water Resources, Prof. Alanana Otaki.

Dr. Aboki made the allegation following a case filed by his now-estranged wife, Felicia Aboki to the court, seeking a dissolution of their 18-years marriage.

According to him, his wife has been having an extramarital affair with the commissioner and asked that the court suspends the case until the determination of the alleged infidelity.

In her defense, Mrs. Abok said she was no longer interested in the 18-year-old marriage, hence her reason to seek divorce.

After listening to all the parties, the presiding judge, Abubakar Lanze, adjourned the case to Sept. 15, 2021, for hearing.
