The Computing and Informatics Students’ Association (CISA), University of Lagos (UNILAG), has announced plans to hold an orientation programme for fresh students of the Faculty of Computing and Informatics.

According to the association, the programme is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, by 10:00 a.m. at the UNILAG Design Studio, Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS), University of Lagos.

The orientation programme, themed “Thriving, Not Just Surviving: Making the Most of Your University Years,” is aimed at equipping new students with the necessary knowledge and mindset to excel both academically and personally during their time in the university.

CISA stated that the initiative is designed to provide guidance and relevant information to help fresh students succeed in their studies, gain a better understanding of university life, and adapt smoothly to the academic environment.

The programme will also empower students to effectively utilize the resources available within the Faculty of Computing and Informatics, enabling them to grow intellectually, develop practical skills, and prepare adequately for future career opportunities.

All newly admitted students of the Faculty are encouraged to attend the programme punctually to benefit fully from the orientation.
