The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) Nigeria is pleased to announce its 2024 annual essay competition, open to all undergraduate students in Nigerian tertiary institutions. This year's topic, "The Rise of Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Job and Workforce Dynamics in Organisations," invites students to share their thoughts on the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence and its effects on the workforce.

Eligibility and Guidelines

To participate, students must meet the following requirements:

- Be currently enrolled in a Nigerian tertiary institution

- Submit an original essay that meets the guidelines

- Essays must be typed in double line spacing, using 12-point Times New Roman font, and not exceed 3000 words

- Reference style must conform to APA Style (6th Edition)

- Plagiarism will result in disqualification

Prizes and Benefits

Winners will receive:

- 1st Prize: N125,000 + 2 HRM books

- 2nd Prize: N100,000 + 2 HRM books

- 3rd Prize: N75,000 + 2 HRM books

- Access to a network of employers

- Free registration as student members of CIPM (for non-members)

- An all-expense-paid trip to Abuja for the CIPM 2024 International Conference & Exhibitions
