A total number of 12,388 were honoured with several degree awards at the Benue State University's 16th and 17th combined graduation ceremony.

The graduating students received their scrolls for the award of First Degree and Postgraduate were challenged on the need to be good ambassadors of the university and project its name in good light.

According to reports, out of the 12,388 graduating students, 10,248 obtained Bachelor Degrees with seven obtaining First Class; 469 students obtained Postgraduate Diplomas; 1,522 (Masters Degrees).

The rest of the 149 students, including the wife of the state Governor, Mrs. Eunice Erdoo Ortom bagged PhD.

The Vice-Chancellor congratulated the graduating students for the feat they attained, and charged them to be good ambassadors of the university and who will continue to fly high its flag.
