The BMO Foundation has announced the launch of its 2025 College Scholarship program, a transformative initiative aimed at supporting academically promising students from Mbieri. This scholarship is designed to alleviate financial burdens and empower young individuals to pursue higher education with confidence and stability.

Purpose and Vision
The BMO Foundation College Scholarship 2025 seeks to uplift deserving students of Mbieri origin or residency by providing financial assistance throughout their undergraduate studies. By removing economic barriers, the foundation hopes to foster a generation of scholars who will contribute meaningfully to their communities and beyond.

Scholarship Benefits
Each successful candidate will receive a scholarship award of 450,000 Naira per academic year. This amount is intended to cover essential educational expenses including tuition fees, textbooks, and boarding costs. The scholarship is renewable annually for the duration of the undergraduate program—typically four or five years—provided the recipient maintains a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale or its equivalent.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the BMO Foundation College Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

- Be of Mbieri origin or currently residing in Mbieri.

- Have secured admission into a degree-awarding university or college to pursue a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.

- Current or returning students in 200 Level may also apply, provided they meet the CGPA requirement.

- Submit proof of university acceptance.

- Provide a valid JAMB test score.

- Write and submit a one-page essay explaining why they should be considered for the scholarship.

Applicants are required to upload the following documents in Word, PDF, or JPEG format:

- One-page essay

- Scanned copy of admission acceptance

- JAMB test score printout
These documents will be used for the initial pre-screening phase. Physical verification of submitted materials may be requested prior to the final award.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to take a 1.5-hour quantitative and verbal reasoning test. Final selection will be based on performance in this test and the strength of the submitted application materials.

All applications must be submitted no later than December 15, 2025. Late submissions will not be considered.
