The University of Agriculture, Science and Technology was established and signed into law by the Government of Benue State in 2024 and was issued an operating license by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in 2025 with a mandate to provide polymathic education that is dedicated to cultivating minds through Agriculture, Agribusiness, Sciences Computing. Innovation, Industry, Technology, Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, Veterinary Medicine and Allied Health Sciences.

Consequently, applications are invited from interested candidates for admission into a one-year Pre-Science/Remedial Science Programme of the University which will lead to admissions for Bachelors' Degree programmes in the following Schools:

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Interested Applicants must possess a minimum of 4 O' Level credit passes in WASSCE, SSCE, GCE or its equivalent in English language, Mathematics/Further Mathematics, Chemistry/Physics, Biology/Agricultural Science.
