The management of Benue State College of Nursing Sciences, Makurdi has announced the commencement of the sale of admission forms for the 2025/2026 academic session. The admission is open for candidates interested in the National Diploma (ND) Nursing Sciences and Post Basic Nursing Programmes.

Application Period

The sale of application forms begins on Monday, 1st March 2026 and will close on 16th March 2026.

Post-UTME Screening Details

• Date: 20th – 21st March, 2026
• Time: 8:00am – 4:00pm daily
• Venue: College Auditorium, Benue State College of Nursing Sciences, Makurdi

• National Diploma Nursing Sciences: N15,000 only

Admission Requirements

Post Basic Nursing Programme

• Candidates must possess a Registered Midwife (RM) Certificate.
• Applicants must have at least five (5) credit passes in:
  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
• Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB.
• Note: NABTEB result cannot be combined with another examination body.

National Diploma (ND) Nursing Sciences

• Candidates must have a UTME cut-off mark of 170 and above.
• Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in:
  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
• Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
• Note: NABTEB cannot be combined with another examination body.
