The management of Bayelsa State College of Nursing Sciences (BYSCONS) is pleased to announce that the sale of application forms for the 2026 academic session has officially begun. This admission cycle includes various professional programs aimed at training the next generation of healthcare providers in the region.

Application Window: Forms are available starting April 13th, 2026, and the portal will remain open until July 10th, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

For Community Nursing & Midwifery:

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must possess WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results with at least 5 credits in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (obtained in no more than two sittings).

For Post-Basic Nursing/Midwifery:

• Applicants must hold valid RN or RM certificates.

Interested candidates should follow these steps to secure their application:

• Make a non-refundable payment of N25,000.00.
• Fill out the online application form accurately and submit.
• Print the system-generated acknowledgement slip and payment receipt (color printing is recommended).

Entrance Examination Details

Candidates are expected to sit for a Computer Based Test (CBT) scheduled as follows:

• Date: July 18th, 2026
• Time: 8:00 AM Prompt
• Venue: College CBT Center
