The FG never denied owing ASSU neither did they refused to pay or did they say they were incapable of paying rather the FGN decided to pay ASUU on instalment. That amount cannot be given immediately but only by instalment. Besides the agreement has no specific date stated to pay d agreement. What is needed here is a simple re-negotiation and dialogue to combat any disturbance of peace. ASUU can wait and wait and wait but until FGN is able to complete the sum they requested ASUU will keep on waiting. Greedy men let them go and start with the little sum, but they want all;they shud be waiting for it.

This strike is indeed political. Some political tycoons are there fuelling the drive or ride of to hold on to their stand whereby they know for sure that this gov''t is promising. This is the only government recognised to have given a striking Body like. ASUU a starting point without promises rather mere promises. Somebody somewhere is given ASUU hope that they cud win. If it was a hausa man on the sit ASUU will not talk about decay. Now that it is my brother whom I know isn''t deceiving Nigerians ASUU decided to raise their complaint all because one politician is envying the sit of presidency. Pls let''s be realistic, if the president''s predecessors were paying this agreement it wouldn''t reach to this amount rather the past government keeps promising and failing. This gov''t came and gave with a promise to continue giving without relenting What else does ASUU need? I think the key thing needed in this face-off is simply believe, reliance, negotiation and love.
