The management of Ebonyi State University (EBSU) and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) chapter of the university are having a disagreement over resumption plans.
However, the ASUU chapter of the state university has denied being aware of the scheduled matriculation. The union further remarked that none of its members will be in attendance at the ceremony because the strike action embarked by ASUU is still ongoing.
Meanwhile, ASUU chair of the institution, Ikechukwu Igwenyi has debunked the news making rounds that academic activities have resumed in the school.
