With no prior knowledge on the lists of departments open for supplementary application, I hastily applied for mechatronics when the forms began sales with an average of 60.25 after I called a friend in his 300 lvl who told me I failed to reach that of mechanical engineering. This friend also told me to go for mechatronics after confirming theirs to be 60 and assured me that my admission was certain. Weeks later after consulting the internet I feel I should have gone for a lower course to improve my chances of admission because I'm starting to believe there are many who did better than myself vying for the same course. Now with the list yet out, I'd like to know if there's any hope for me this year? Or perhaps if there are still alternatives I'm ignorant of.
