Basic Entry Requirements

Candidates for admission into General Nursing and Midwifery programmes are expected to have 5 Credit Passes in:

• English Language
• Biology
• Chemistry
• Physics
• Mathematics

in not more than two (2) sittings of the SSCE or its equivalent examination.Only candidates that possess these pre-requisites can be presented for indexing to the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

2. Admission candidates for Public Health Nursing must in addition to the above requirements possess the State Registered Nursing Certificate dully registered and verified by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

3. Admission Candidates for General Nursing and Midwifery programmes shall be at least 17 years of age.

The minimum requirements for admission into the College are those stipulated for entry into the College, subject to additional requirements as may be specified by the College from time to time. The College shall conduct written examination and oral interview for applicants, as the basis for admission

Our Admission Application process is simple and convenient.

2) Click the "Admission >> Application Form" menu to access the Online Admission Application Form.

3) Provide a valid email address and the prospective student's basic information and submit to generate Application Code (and Payment Invoice for the form purchase, if required). The Application Code generated will be sent to the email address you provided.

4) If payment is required, then proceed to make the payment either online (with credit/debit card, bank account transfer, etc. this is the simplest approach) or print the generated invoice and proceed to make the payment at your nearest branch of the school's bank.

• If you are paying via bank deposit, then you will have to take or email your payment teller to the school's bursary unit for payment confirmation.
• You are required to complete the payment and return to complete the application in not more than 24 hours.

5) Proceed online to complete the main admission application form. (If you went away from the application process flow page before now, provide the generated Application Code to resume/continue with the form completion).

6) Finally, submit the form after completion of the entries. Print the Admission Application Acknowledgement Slip displayed upon submission.

• When coming to the school for the next steps (Written Examination, Oral Interview), the candidate is required to come along with the Acknowledgement Slip.
• The school may send announcements about Entrance Examination Schedules and other relevant information to the email you provided.
