The Akwa Ibom State College of Education, through the Office of the Bursar, has released a notice informing all newly admitted students of the 2025/2026 academic session about the payment for matriculation gowns.
According to the memo, all newly admitted NCE, Degree, and Direct Entry students scheduled to matriculate are required to pay a fee of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000) for the matriculation gown.

The notice was signed by Mrs. Jenny I. Mkpanam, CNA, Acting Bursar, and copied to the Provost, Registrar, Directorate of ICT, Directorate of Medical Services, Dean of Student Affairs, SUG, and various notice boards.
