Applications are invited from qualified candidates for admission into the Sandwich Programmes of the Institute of Education and Professional Studies of Akwa Ibom State University for the 2025/2026 Vacation Programmes. All applicants seeking admission into the B.Sc (Ed), B.A. (Ed) or B.Ed programmes must satisfy the University matriculation requirements. In addition to general requirements, the applicants must also satisfy admission requirements (Department and course) for a 3-year undergraduate degree programme.

​N.C.E. or equivalent in two relevant teaching subjects at least at merit level, and the senior school certificate WASC /NECO /NABTEB, or General Certificate of Education ordinary level with pass in five relevant subjects at credit level including mathematics and English language. OR Teachers' Grade II Certificate with credit or merit in at least five relevant subjects including English.

​A pass at merit level in a relevant Diploma programme (provided the O/L requirements are satisfied).
