The management of Schools of Post Basic Nursing programme, Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital (approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria) wishes to announce to the general public that admission for 2024/2025 academic session is ongoing for the following newly accredited Postbasic Nursing prgrammes;

• CRITICAL CARE NURSING -DURATION: 1 YEAR
• NEPHROLOGY NURSING - DURATION: 1 YEAR
• ACCIDENT & EMERGENCY NURSING - DURATION: 1 YEAR

ELIGIBILITY

Candidates must.

• Possess five (5) credits in not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC/NECO/GCE and must include English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
• Be a qualified nurse duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
• Must have a current practising licence.

APPLICATION FEE

• TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED NAIRA (N25,200)

HOW TO APPLY

• Step 1: Candidates are to visit the College official website http://son-admission.aefutha.edu.ng to create a profile.
• Step 2: Candidates are to click the "make payment" link on the portal to generate and make remita payments.
• Step 3: Candidates are to send proof of payments via whatsapp to 08169634390 or 0703608836 to have the account created in step 1 above activated.
• Step 4: Candidates are to return to the admission portal to complete registration and print out an examination slip containing details of Examination date, venue and other relevant information

Application closes on Monday 28th October, 2024 and Entrance Examination holds on Wednesday 30th October, 2024
