The Senate of the 6th assembly,sug wishes to inform the university community by the unanimous resolution on her plenary held on the 1st day of June 2024 to suspend with immediate effect, the treasurer of the SUG AE FUNAI.

The decision was made pursuant to the provisions of the sug constitution on page 35 subsection n.

The need for the immediate suspension of the treasurer sen igwe Jude amba have grown out of the evident submission of the internal auditor and the treasurer himself, which shows that the stipend of an office, `director of finance' was withdrawn three times from the unions account.

On the basis of the aforementioned the Senate has further activated all the processes as provided for in page 5 section 9 of the sug constitution which will provide for a smooth,free,fair and transparent investigation of this submission and the office involved. 

The termination of this suspension will pending the appearance of the suspended officer and subsequent investigation by the constitutional 7 man panel provided for in section 9 of the sug constitution is concluded, submission made to the Senate house,and the resolutions made by the Senate.
