The management of Adamawa State University, Mubi has announced that the 14th Convocation ceremony is scheduled to hold from 12th to 13th December, 2022.

Consequently, all graduated students for 2020/2021 session are to take note of the following information for their necessary action:

1. The Convocation ceremony is for graduands of the 2020/2021 academic session only. All concerned are advised to check the University website for full list and other vital information

2. Convocation Fees: All convoking graduands are to pay Convocation fees according to their status as follows:

• First Degree holders — N15,000 
• Post Graduate Diploma Studies — N20,000
• Masters Degree holders — N25,000
• Ph.D holders — N35,000

MODE OF PAYMENT

All payment for Convocation are to be made through: ACCOUNT NAME: ADSU, Mubi ACCOUNT №: 0004731731, Unity Bank, while payment for Alumni membership fee of N3,500 applies and payable through ACCOUNT NAME: ADSU, Mubi ACCOUNT №: 0015867872, Unity Bank. Alumni membership Registration for Alumni membership will commence on 9th December, 2022 at the alumni secretariat, Advancement unit, ADSU, mubi

CONVOCATION CHARGES:

The Convocation charges covers the following: Hiring of academic Gown Order of proceedings Certificate holder Certificate fee Administrative charges Insurance of Convocation Gowns:

I.      Issuance of academic gowns will commence on 12th December, 2022 at the respective faculty offices at 8:30am to 5:00pm, on first come, first serve basis and on presentation of evidence of payment of Convocation fee

II.      Academic gowns are available for sale to ph.D graduands at a rate of N20,000. (Please note that this is not included in the Convocation fee). All Ph.D graduands are encouraged to buy the gown for personal use and as mark of identification with Adamawa State University, Mubi.

Please note payment of Convocation and Alumni fee is mandatory on all graduands of the 14th Convocation irrespective of being in attendance during the ceremony or not.

PRESENTATION OF EVIDENCE OF PAYMENT:

All graduands are to present verified receipt for the above payment before collecting their certificate

RETURN OF CONVOCATION GOWNS:

All gowns are to be returned latest, Friday 16th December, 2022 or the appropriate charges of N1,000 per day for non- return will apply.

DISTRIBUTION OF CERTIFICATES:

Distribution of Certificates will commence on Monday, 19th December, 2022 at the Academic Registry on presentation of the following before collection:

• Original Statement of Result
• School ID Card
• Recent valid ID Card (Voter's Card, Driver's license or National ID Card)
• Copy of O'level Certificate
• Evidence of Alumni registration/membership
• Copy of Convocation fee receipt

OTHER MATTERS:

• All graduands are expected to attend the Convocation lecture scheduled to hold on 15th December, 2022 by 10:00am prompt at jika Mana conference hall, ADSU guest house, Garden city, Mubi
• All graduands are expected to attend the Convocation ceremony and to formally dresses in English or National wear
• Only graduands that are dressed in their respective faculty gown will be allowed into the procession and on Convocation ground.
