Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has officially announced the commencement of the sale of application forms for its 1-year Remedial Science Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The programme is specifically designed to provide students with a solid A-level foundation, prepare them for the University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), and equip them with essential practical skills. Crucially, it serves as a pathway for students to remedy O-level credit deficiencies.

Entry and Admission Requirements
Prospective applicants must hold an SSCE O-level result or its equivalent. Eligibility is broken down into two categories:
Successful completion of the remedial programme, combined with meeting the minimum Bayero University UTME cut-off points, qualifies candidates for admission into Level 100 science-based degree programmes for the 2026/2027 session.
Available Programmes
The programme is domiciled within the College of Natural and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Students will undergo comprehensive instruction in Mathematics and three elective subjects chosen from Biology, Chemistry, Geography, and Physics.
