Adeyemi College of Education (ACE), Ondo, the first college of education in the country, holds her 32nd Convocation this week. Some of the dignitaries expected at the programme are:
1. Prof Ruquayyat Ahmed Rufa'l, Minister of Education.
2. Chief Afe Babalola, SAN,
3. Mrs Kemi Mimiko, First Lady of Ondo State Governor.

ACE, Ondo offers both NCE and degree certificate of OAU, Ile Ife. The Convocation is for the 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 sets of NCE and Degree graduands as well as for 2008-2010 NCE Sandwich.

The programme kicks off on Monday 11th February with Press Briefing. There is exhibition by the departments of Home Economics and Fine and Applied Arts, and it is to be declared open by the First Lady of the Ondo State Governor, mrs Kemi Mimiko.

A football match between ACE Team and COE Ikere comes up on Tuesday. While Musical Concert is put in place for Wednesday.

A lecture titled 'FREE EDUCATION: MYTHS OR REALITY?' is to be delivered by the well-known lawyer, Chief Afe Babalola, SAN, on Thursday.

Convocation for NCE graduands is slated for Friday while that of the Degree Graduands is on Saturday. The epic play of 'KURUNMI' as written by Ola Rotimi, will be staged on Firday, too. And projects in the college will be commissioned as well.

Award of the College Fellowship is to be conferred on some people like
Prof Mahmood Yakub, Pst (Mrs) Surulola Faturoti, Hon Kingsley Kuku, and others.

Meanwhile, the great minister of God, Pst G.O Adeboye, is also coming to the school for a Christian service, on Sunday 17th February.
