The initiative, tagged “Make Your Mark: Continuous Voter Registration at ABSU,” calls on students to register and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), emphasizing that the future of both Nigeria and Abia State lies in their hands.

According to the university’s Committee on Continuous Voter Registration, the exercise commenced on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, and will run until Friday, March 6, 2026. Students are encouraged to turn out in large numbers to complete their registration and collect their PVCs.

The campaign highlights the importance of voting, noting that it empowers students to influence policies affecting education, career opportunities, and national development. It also encourages students to inspire peers, friends, and family members to join the movement.
