AAUA Best Graduating Student Receives N500,000 For Lunch From Gov. Rochas Okorocha

At The 2015/2016 session Convocation Ceremonies of the institution held at the Multipurpose Hall on the main campus in Akungba Akoko on Saturday, the Best Graduating Student of  AAUA, Awe Fredrick Oluwatimilehin received a cash gift of N500,000 for lunch from the Imo State governor, Rochas Okoroch.

Mr Awe had graduated from the Department of Physics Electronics with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.83.

In an emotion laden speech to thank the audience on behalf of other graduands, Awe narrated how he was kidnapped by ritualists for three days and his mother’s support despite the abandonment of him and his siblings for over twenty years by their father.

He noted that in spite of these and more, he was determined to make it. This actually paid off as he emerged the best among equals.
