A student of the Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo state, who is an upcoming artist has been expelled from the institution after he was caught with some illicit drugs.

According to reports, the 300l Economics student with the stage name Drauzie was found with about 80 wraps of Indian Hemp within the school premises. It was also gathered that the student, Adenowo Emmanuel Oreoluwa has been summoned previously by the school management the last time he was seen with drugs but was let off on a warning. He was said to have signed an undertaking never to do such again. However, On Tuesday, he was reportedly expelled from the institution after being caught once more, despite the warning.

In a statement issued by the institution, the Vice Chancellor, Rt. Rev. Professor Dapo Asaju, reportedly said the university will continue to deal ruthlessly with students involved in cannabis smoking, peddling, sex, trafficking and other vice.
