From F=v/^
at fundamental frequency ^=2L
fundamental frequency [1st harmonic]fo= V/2L or ^/2L, Since ^=2L
first overtone (2nd harmonic) f1 = is Fundamental frequency ×2, since it's second harmonic
second overtone (3rd harmonic) f2 = fundamental frequency ×3, Since it's third Harmonic

where the symbol (^) signifies wavelength
hence the wavelength of the second overtone or third Harmonic is 3^/2L i.e 3^=2L hence the wavelength will be ^=2L/3 which will give us 2x24/3 = 16
