using the formula
eV = 1/2mv²
Where e = electronic charge = 1.6 x 10^-¹⁹C

V = accelerating voltage or potential difference (V)

M= mass of electron 9.1 x 10^-³¹kg

v = velocity of electron ms-1

there we were asked to find V
hence V = (1/2mv²)/e
= (0.5x9.1×10^-³¹)x (4×10⁷)² ÷ (1.6× 10^-¹⁹)
= 4550 or 4.55×10^³
option A is correct ✅
