After solving on my own
I discovered the explanation is wrong in terms of simplyfying 1/c =(1/0.003)+(1/0.0006)
Finding the lcm we should have 1/c=(2+1/0.0006)
=3/0.0006
Reciprocating we have
C=0.0002uf

And not
1/c= 0.0002+0.0001/0.0006
1/c=0.0003/0.0006
Reciprocating
C=0.0006/0.0003
Will gives gives (solving by heart or using calculator)
C=2uf
Which is wrong and not in the question
The from the explanation the working doesn't justify the answer

The right answer is not in the question as 0.0006/0.0003 gives 2 and not 0.0002

To calculate lcm of two numbers
Just divide the multiplication...by the addition.

0.0006 × 0.0003/ 0.0006 + 0.0003
