It just like the gas equations . since root T has a constant . using the method, F1/rootT1= F2 /rootT2
F1 is 50Hz F2 =? TI is 1 T2 is 4. Make F2 the subject of the equation and evaluate. the square
root of 4 is 2 and the squareroot of 1 is 1. Therefore
the evaluation is 50x2/1 which is equal to 100.

this kind thing I thought frequency is only proportional to the square root of tension according to a sonometer when bought device have same frequency you can only use the tension in the string to differentiate them so basically F = √T. in this case it will be
F¹/✓T¹ = F²/✓T²
