📚 Pressure is defined as Force acting normally in a unit area. It is given as
📖 Pressure in solids 📖
Pressure= Force/Area
From this relationship, it is obvious that Pressure is directly proportional to Force and pressure is inversely
proportional to the Area.

🔘Pressure has the same S.I unit as stress.
🔘 The main units of pressure are the pascal and Newton per Meter squared (N/m²)
P = F/A
F = W = mg

⭐Pressure in solids depends on the force exerted and area of the body.
⭐Pressure on a body increases with an increase in force acting on it i.e P ∝ F.
⭐Pressure decreases with an increase in area 📖
P ∝ 1/A
📖Hence, a man standing on one toe of his foot (small area) exerts a larger pressure compared to a man standing on both feet😅
📖Cutting objects with sharp knifes (small area) exerts a great pressure.
