Resonance is a point in an ac circuit where inductive reactants equals capacitance reactants.
At resonance the following conditions occur
Z --------> XL= Xc
Z = resistance/ minimum
Z ----> power factor 1 or unit , phi =0 because current and voltage are in a phase

At resonance current is maximum.
That means at resonance impedance (which is equivalent to resistance because they are both opposition to current) will be minimum.
remember V = IZ
I = V/Z ( inverse proportionality).
