Find the tension in the two cords shown in the figure above. Neglect the mass of the cords, and assume that the angle is 38° and the mass m is 220 kg
[Take g = 9.8 ms-2]

\(T_1\) = 2864 N, \(T_2\)= 3612 N
\(T_1\)= 3612 N, \(T_2\) = 2864 N
\(T_1\)= 3502 N, \(T_2\)= 2760 N
\(T_1\) = 2760 N, \(T_2\) = 3502 N

I'm confused why are we going to find sin 38Β° and cos 38Β° without specific calculator π

jamb is very complicated.
even if we were to find from special angles while didn't they give a gave between option B and C.
for instance
we know that sin30 = 0.5 , from reason sin 38 supposed be around 0.58 or 0.6 but won't pass such because sin 45 = 0.7071 so we have to be reasoning small small.
but if you used 0.58 and solve it will be higher than the normal sin 38.
seriously I am tired. if you get another alternative please share with me

Jamb why na
I swear if I see this kind of question I will just do old school style

There's a mistake somewhere; on the video, you used tan38Β°, while on the expression, you used cos38Β°

since the calculator given by jamb works on special angles only, how do you now find sin 38β° please
