The correct answer should be option A.
'IV' is not true because temperature does not rise during melting, but remains constant.

the correct answer is A option iv is wrong as temperature remains constant during melting

With the options there, none of the answers is correct. From the Question, option A is II and III and not I and III.
Also option D is II, III and IV and not II and IV.
I suggest the option should be updated rightly.

The answer is meant to be constant temperature at melting point and increase in temperature before melting begins as the temperature of a pure solid at itβs melting point doesnβt increase because all the heat is absorbed to break intermolecular bonds.
