Option B:
The shorter the wavelength (above threshold wavelength) the greater the number of electrons produced. Or put in another way, the higher the frequency of light ( above threshold frequency) the higher the number of electrons ejected in photoelectric emission. In light spectrum From red to green. Green has a shorter wavelength a higher frequency while red has a longer wavelength a lower frequency. Shorter wavelength and higher frequency will result into production of more electrons by the green light than the red light. Generally, frequencies closer ultraviolet rays are better emitters than those closer to infrared rays.
