two divers G and H are at depths of 20 and 40 relatively below the water in a lake

that is to say that
G=20 and H=40

if the pressure G = p1 and H = p2 the value of p2/p1 is ?

note that they gave us an atmospheric pressure equivalent to 10m of water

that is to say

p2+10/ p1+10

which is 40+10/ 20+10 = 50/30
which is = 1.67

The answer is D
G is 20, H is 40. Find P2.
Therefore: P2/P1 = 40/20
= 2(D)

The correct option is D. p2/p1 =40/20 = 2.00

Pressure at H=40m; pressure at G, P¹=20m
: P2/P1= 40/20= 2
The answer is D
