lamps are in parallel because without being in parallel you will have to switch on all the light to on your lamp which is so ridiculous 🤯.Take the Christmas light tree for example when you switch them off all the lights off so this type of arrangement is series but in your house where we have switches,they are in parallel because when you switch one bulb off no other bulb switches off with it 👍that is why they have to be in parallel
