The ice point of water is 0°C

°C = K - 273

applying this formula to 0°C, K = 273

Therefore the ice point of water is 273K

D✅💫. where 273 is ice point and 373 steam point 🙌

ice point is 0 degree celsius .
standard temp. in kelvin is 273kelvin.
hence 0 degree celsius to kelvin would be
0 + 273=273kelvin
correct answer is D..

so as for the boiling point which is 100 degree celsius
therefore to kelvin, 100 + 273=373 kelvin

The answer is D.
Cross check it with the internet.
In another repeated past question, my school gist picks 273K

The answer is: D. 273K
Explanation:
The absolute scale of temperature is the Kelvin scale.
The ice point on the Celsius scale is 0°C, which is equivalent to 273K on the Kelvin scale.
Absolute zero (0K) is the theoretical lowest possible temperature, where all particle motion ceases.

The freezing point of water was defined as 273.15 Kelvins and the boiling point was defined as 373.15 Kelvins to match up with the Celsius scale. Note that the unit on the absolute scale is Kelvin, not degrees Kelvin.

Therefore, the answer is D

The ice point on the absolute scale of temperature is 273K because it is defined as the temperature at which water freezes. This temperature is equivalent to 0 degrees Celsius. The Kelvin scale starts at absolute zero, which is the point at which all molecular motion ceases. So, 273K corresponds to the freezing point of water.
hence D is the correct option✅

The question does not ask for absolute zero temperature. On the contrary, it requests that students supply the ice point on an absolute scale temperature, also known as Kelvin scale. Therefore 273K should be marked correct, as that is the ice point on a Kelvin Scale.

You guys are mixing this up, they didn't ask for freezing point of water, and absolute temperature thermometer is callibererated from (0-373)k that means the ice point is 0⁰k
