Is the answer not C?

The answer is actually B. Because in C we don't know whether the table is moving or not, they just said A man is pushing unto a table.

Cos in D...the man is also applying a distance on the workdone 🤦🏻‍♂the man applied a force on the table which automatically creates a distance..
Buh,I don't know, whether the table is kinda heavy or light 🙂

In physics, work is only performed when a force is applied to an object and that object undergoes a displacement in the direction of the force.
Force + Movement: When a boy climbs onto a table, he exerts an upward force to lift his body mass against the force of gravity.
Displacement: Because he moves from the floor to the table, there is a measurable vertical distance (displacement). Since both force and movement occur, work is done (W=FxD)
