In a negatively charged body, the lines of force are directed towards it as shown in the diagram above
WHILE
For a positively charged body, the lines of force are directed away from it.

Negative is always inside . Use N in Negative to know that it is iNside

So the opposite for positive. Positive arrow is usually outside.
