Option (D) is the correct answer.
Specific heat capacity is the amount of head required to raise a unit mass of a substance by 1k. But the question says a mass, which might be 4Kg, 0.0003g or whatever.

Specific heat capacity has to do wth mass. while heat capacity just deals with the temperature required ro raise a substance by 1k. So the difference there is the mass

Quantity of heat=heat capacity times change in temperature..
Therefore Heat capacity=quantity of heat/change in temperature.. Which means that heat capacity is the quantity of heat required to raise a mass of a substance through 1k..
