F=Gm/r
Since the radius and the Gravitational constant are the same then
Mx=Me
4.8=x(2/5)
Cross multiply
4.8×5=2x
24=2x
Divide.both sides by 2,then
X=12

This question compares the gravitational intensity in space (Gx) and on Earth (Ge) to be 2/5.
(Gx/Ge = 2/5)
w= mg ( since weight and gravity are directly proportional and mass is constant.)
(Wx) / (We) = (Gx) / (Ge)
Wx =4.80N ( weigth in space)
We = ( weigth on Earth)
(Gx/Ge) =2/5) Gravitational intensity in space and on Earth.
4.80/We = 2/5
We = (4.8 * 5 ) /2
We = 24/2 = 12
