128/2 = 64

R = 2ⁿ

64 = 2^6

n = 6

T = t/n

T½ = 24/6

T ½= 4

The correct answer is meant to be 4.00 days.
So now, let’s calculate

128g ~ 64g ( 1half-life)
64g~ 32g ( 2half-lives)
32g ~ 16g ( 3half -lives)
16g ~ 8g (4 half lives)
8g ~ 4g ( 5 half lives)
4g ~ 2g ( 6 half lives)

Half - life = Total time/ Number of half lives
= 24/6
= 4 days

You are there, because this half life is very complicated.
