What is the reading of the vernier scale above

The main scale reading is 1.8 and since there is no alignment on the Vernier scale with the main scale, the answer shouldn't be 1.88cm but 1.80cm.

FEMI is right
since it doesn't align with the main scale the reading should be 1.8
unless the diagram was not drawn to scale

if you observe closely the main scale reading is not exactly 1.8. it's above that by almost .1, so it's 1.88
