For X ,number of wavelength = 1 frequency= 30 . frequency = no of wavelength/time , time= n/f = 1/30 =0.33. Both x and y travel with d same time . number of wavelenghs of y= 2.5 therefore f=n/t= 2.5/0.33 = 75. Hope you find this useful

imn x the is 1 wavelength for 30hz .
if in y there is 2.5 wavelength,
its frequency would be =2.5 *30
=75hz.
