the answer is 1.5
1and 5 is in parallel so add directly U got 6
now 4,6,4 are in series so add inversely
1/4+1/6+1/4 look for the L.C.M of 4,6,&4=12
then do the math 4 into 12 times 1=3,do the same thing for the next ones,
we have 3+2+3/12
1/C=8/12 since it 1/C U interchange it to be C=12/8=1.5
