The selected answer is wrong:
WORK IS THE CORRECT ANSWER BECAUSE WORK DONE= FORCE X DISTANCE.
AND IT IS KNOWN THAT FORCE HAS MAGNITUDE AND DIRECTION.i.e vector quantity
REF: check principles of physics by Michael Nelkon

work = displacement x force
force is vector and displacement is vector
product of two vector quantities= scalar quantity.

The measurement of the medium’s temperature is a scalar quantity; the measurement of the increase or decrease in the medium’s temperature is a vector quantity.

Actually, there is no ans cause everything is scaler but work can still be manageable to a certain extent since it also entails force in relation wih the distance covered while the rest are absolutely scaler (no exception)

please WORK is the correct answer because WORK=f * s=m*a*s note since force is a vector quantity it means automatically work is a vector quantity

The Correct answer is A. temperature gradient. "Work" is not a vector as it has only madnitude.
