The electromagnetic radiation that is used in cameras to take photograph in darkness is infrared radiation whose wavelength is 10−5 m. All heat waves mostly consist of infrared waves which are not visible to human eye. Was this answer helpful?

infrared photographs detect heat radiated by bodies
thus the presence of haze ( which impair visual recognition) isnt a barrier

thus infrared rays help to see object despite hazy conditions
