recall that. average speed = total distance÷ total time......since distance was not given,we calc distance with the formula ....s=ut+1\2 at^2....

......substituting ur values......for d first parameters given, velocity =10m|s and time =3secs...from d above formula , s=10×3+1\2×0×3^2......s=30+0=30m.......... second parameters. ....s=15×3+0=45m......then for d last parameters,..... s=20×4+0=80m.................now we have gotten all d distance we can now calculate our average speed.......average speed =tot.distance÷tot.time........total distance =30+45+80=155.......total time =3+3+4=10.........average speed =155÷10=15.5m|s........I hope it has helped someone
